Troy Galloway

Troy Galloway, PE started his career with GDOT working on the Statewide Signal Improvement Program and RTOP. Upon joining Arcadis, Troy expanded his career through special event planning and operations at all major venues in Metro Atlanta; ITS and traffic signal design across the Southeast; and arterial operations and maintenance as Deputy PM for RTOP. Additionally, while working on the Renew Atlanta Program Troy served as the Traffic and ITS Manager and oversaw mobility and safety improvements in the City of Atlanta – most notably the North Ave Smart Corridor Project, Super Bowl ITS installations, and Campbellton Road Smart Transit Project.

Troy hopes to build the ITS Georgia membership to pre-pandemic numbers by recruiting former member agencies as well as engaging new industry players in the Big Data and SaaS markets. He would also like to expand outreach to students from Georgia Universities outside of Metro Atlanta in an effort to spark interests for future generation of engineers in the ITS field.

Troy is a graduate of Southern Poly and lives in Marietta with his wife Teigan and 3 kiddos. In his spare time Troy loves to travel the world and interact with other cultures and to view how traffic is handled in other countries (His wife really enjoys this part of their vacations).
