Keary Lord

Keary Lord has 24 years of both public and private sector ITS and transportation engineering experience in Georgia. He is currently a Project Director for Atkins North America.

Keary has been an active ITS Georgia Board member since 2012, contributing significantly to the success of ITS Georgia and helping the organization earn its third outstanding state chapter award under his tenure.  Keary actively participates in the monthly board and program meetings, and plays an active role on multiple committees furthering the fulfillment of the mission and goals of the chapter.  Some of his most notable contributions and achievements as a Board Director include: increasing membership to its highest levels multiple years in a row, restructuring the chapter’s membership classification and structure, served as sponsor and exhibitor chair for the very successful ITS 3C Summit on behalf of the Georgia chapter, and securing insurance protection for the chapter.

Keary’s goals within another term will be to help the chapter to win its fourth outstanding chapter award in a row by improving the quality and content of the monthly meetings and increasing the value of membership, and play an executive committee role in planning and hosting the 2018 5C Summit.
