Job Title – Transportation Project Manager

Job Description

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Traffic Engineering Project Manager for our Peachtree Corners, GA office who will perform engineering assignments for our Traffic Engineering/Transportation Planning Group. Interacting with staff with a variety of backgrounds and specialization will be a significant aspect to this position. Good communication skills, both written and oral, are essential. Our Traffic Engineering Group in Peachtree Corners is a dynamic team that works on a variety of projects including signal and ITS design, pedestrian crossing design, traffic engineering studies, corridor studies, intersection operations analysis and concept development, interchange studies, and signal timing. We provide engineering and planning expertise to our clients in city, state, and federal government, as well as private sector clients.

Requirements

Qualifications:
-BS in an accredited Transportation/Civil Engineering program
-PE License
-8+ years hands-on experience with traffic engineering in areas such as traffic studies, signal design, ITS design, and signal timing.
-Experience with traffic analysis and reporting is important along with the ability to apply the Manual On Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and GDOT Policies and standards.
-Demonstrated depth and breadth of knowledge in Traffic Engineering, including a combination of intersection and corridor analysis, traffic simulation, traffic forecasting, safety analysis and design, signal timing, ICE analysis, signal design, ITS/Communications -Design, and report writing/documentation and will show leadership in project management, marketing, and managing/mentoring staff.
-Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work.
-Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally.
