Alvin James Jr., P.E. is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2001 and his Masters of Science in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2004.

Alvin has been with Kimley-Horn since 2004 and has experience in ITS design, traffic operations, and advanced signal systems.  He currently works out of the Peachtree Corners office. Alvin resides in Dunwoody, Georgia with his wife and two sons.
