Holly Painter

Holly Painter is a licensed Professional Engineer with 21 years of experience in transportation design, client account management and business development across the Southeast. As a Client Account Manager at KCI Technologies, she partners with DOTs, CIDs, and municipalities throughout the southern U.S. to deliver multidisciplinary engineering solutions. She currently serves as Chair of ACEC Georgia and Vice President of ITS Georgia and is active on multiple committees including the ACEC STEM Task Force, Chair of the Women in the Workforce, and the ACEC Georgia/GPTQ Procurement Subcommittee. Holly is also a 2024 Florida Engineering Leadership Institute graduate, serves on the ACEC Florida Workforce Development Committee and a member of Florida Engineering Society.  She also serves on the KCI ESOP Board of Directors. Her leadership and industry contributions have been recognized with ENR Southeast’s “Top 20 Under 40,” the 2020 GSPE Young Engineer of the Year, and the 2022 ITS Georgia President’s Award.

Kaitlyn Stewart

Kaitlyn Stewart is the Assistant State Signal Maintenance Engineer at the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT). She also has experience working in the ITS and Signal Operations teams at GDOT. For the past two years, she has served as a Board of Director for ITSGA. She is running for ITSGA Vice President because she believes in creating a stronger, more connected community where every member feels valued and supported. She brings dedication, leadership, and a collaborative mindset to the table. As Vice President, she will work closely with the executive team to ensure smooth communication, organize meaningful events, and create opportunities for professional growth.

Farrah Glasgow

Farrah Glasgow has over 16 years of experience in the transportation and outside plant infrastructure industries. An original employee of Utilicom, she joined the company as a bookkeeper in 2007 and quickly excelled transitioning from accounting to sales. In her current role as account manager, she develops trusting relationships with customers by delivering personalized service and customized solutions across the state of Georgia.

Farrah knows firsthand the value and impact that ITS brings to the transportation industry having been an active participant since 2016. She appreciates the efforts of the organization to be a trusted source for up-to-date industry information and consolidate efforts to create a better future transformed by safer, greener, smarter intelligent mobility. Farrah is excited about the opportunity to continue in a leadership role with ITS Georgia and serve the membership.

Kate Shearin

Kate is a 2011 Georgia Tech graduate with over fourteen years of experience working in Traffic Operations. She began her career in the public sector with the Georgia Department of Transportation and shifted to the private sector three years ago with KCI Technologies. Kate has been on the ITS Georgia Board as a Director for the past two years supporting the monthly meeting planning and is looking forward to the opportunity to continue supporting the board and our ITSGA members for our award winning organization.

Merri Minshew

Merri Minshew works for the Georgia Department of Transportation as a Civil Engineer 2 in the Signal Operation’s Maintenance group. Her primary responsibilities include managing the statewide Cyberlock deployment program and handling all metro Atlanta region’s on-call-requests. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Construction Engineering from Georgia Southern University in Spring of 2024. She is also aspiring to be an Engineer in Training by the end of the year. Merri currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia and enjoys trying new restaurants and traveling in her free time.

George Curtis

George Curtis is a Traffic Signal Engineer with Gwinnett County. He earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Georgia Tech. George has a little over 3 years of professional experience with background in Traffic Operations, Analysis, Design, Studies, and Safety. At Gwinnett, he primarily assists County residents with operational concerns as well as assisting with design reviews, signal activations, and the implementation of new technologies.
